Hi!
I seem to have a glitch with my PM mod...
When people ask for no emails to be sent when PMs are received, it still sends them out 
Would anyone be able to help me out in fixing this?

PS One thing I did do a while back, was make a dbs file to change it so when people signed up, emails would automatically be sent to them when they receive a PM (because it was set to no)...would this of caused it? |

This has been mentioned before about the PM mod, but I don't think anyone has posted a solution to it.
Does it happen if the sender or reciever has chosen to recieve notification? Or does it happen if both sender and reciever has chosen to not recieve notifications? |

What I notice is, someone I know has chosen not to recieve emails, but when they send a PM, I don't get a notification, but when I reply, they do.
However, someone who hasn't switched it off, sends me a PM and I get a notification, and they get one back when I reply.
It's all a bit strange |

| Agreed, it is strange. I've looked over the PM code before, but I failed to notice anything which could cause such behaviour. |

I'll try and reinstall it...incase I've messed anything up with installing mods etc.
Would running the dbs file for the PM mod kind of sort out the database (if I messed it up with my changes) !? |

| I dont think you should run the dbs file again, as it could make matters worse. Also, I don't think you have messed up the PM mod either, as it is a known occuring bug with some PM mod installs. |
