Hi ppl i am new to all this and have got my forum up and running in two days. just looking for some advice on how i could improve it. i am using a MS SQL server and finding it hard to find mods.
First of all, having MSSQL does not eliminate you from installing the mods. Most of them work just fine. I know this because I too am a MSSQL forum owner.
Second, ditch the default forum color scheme. Otherwise it is just another Snitz forum with your own logo.
Third, the logo is too big and I would ditch the repeating background image. It makes it hard to read the menu links.
Fourth, you will be losing a lot of potential visitors by making them register and by hiding the forums until they log in. My motto is, how do you know what you want to buy if you can't see it in the window?
i like the logo size and the repeating image in back...im not a pro at this but i think it looks good. forum colors could be modified but i dont think you should change them too much and i think maybe the blue or red MeTV icon set would look good http://www.tvthemetunes.net/graphics.html
