If you select prompt mode in the editor, then click the list button and then enter anything other than "", "A" or "1" you get prompted again, however no amount of entering A, 1 or Blank gets you past this prompt. Had to kill the browser process in then end.

this is when you are doing a post? or editing a post? or editing or posting a topic? or a Forum? and what buttons are doing the repeat thing?

It does it anywhere and everywhere I think. I just tried it replying to this message and it does it - BIG MISTAKE - had to kill my browser again.
Sit in this text box, select prompt mode, click the list button, type X
You are now stuck in an infinite loop being prompted for the list type. Whatever you type, you can't get out. Only way out is terminate iexplore.exe.

The text to look for (as shown in the looping dialog) is
ERROR! The only possible values for type of list are blank 'A' and '1'.
