looks like a pretty basic install. One thing though: you're using two icons that are 16x16 pixels, but because they're shown at 15x15 pixels, they don't show up correctly. It seems to only be icon_folder.gif and icon_folder_new.gif. Changing their sizes to 16x16 pixels in inc_iconfiles.asp should make them look just a bit nicer. |

Some suggestions: -Use XP icons, your forum will look nicer with them. -Get some nice Login/Logout Buttons, if you can't find good one's i'll make some. -Install some basic mods like Active Users, Poll, Avatars, PM, etc
Otherwise I like your forum's colours, a lighter background would make your forum look even more nicer but its entirely upto you!

While a 1 pixel difference is NOT going to be noticeable, it's not a bad idea to always match your code to actual WIDTH & HEIGHT of any graphics.

Use whatever icons YOU want! XP is a matter of opinion... and IMO XP is TOO wishy washy <gag sound effect> Microsoft.

I disagree. I noticed it, didn't I? The icons get scaled down and are missing the black outline on the bottom and right side (if I recall correctly). That means the icons don't look as nice as they could. |
