How to add a member selected image right below his/her rank? It would be more friendly, I think. Thanks a lot. |

Thanks ruirib!!! I can always depend on you. By the way, any avatar add-ons that let user uploads his/her own one? |

You're welcome. I don't know that much about mods, I use only a couple and do not use avatars. Maybe someone else can help. I'm changing the topic title and moving this to the Mod W/O code forum where it can get the attention it needs. |

We added member images to our forum, but we also host the images. Forum members email their photos to us for posting. We resize to 80 x 100 and host the photos ourselves. We added fields to the FORUM_MEMBERS table to account for the photo name, and whether it's activated (sometimes, a member will want to have their photo removed), and then added code to topic.asp to show the photo. We also added an admin capability to specify the photo name for a given member. Finally, we modified the member profile to include the same photo.
I can send you our code changes if you are interested. |

The users loved it when I added avatars, LOTS more team spirit and other things. There is an avatar MOD that allows for the user to upload, but we still use the "you email it to us" method. |

The avatar mod on snitz bitz has upload features, only for admin though, but it would be easy to adapt for normal users. |

Thank you guys. I prefer to let user uploads the image by themselves. Steve, I will try your link. |
