I know your probably tired of working on this project and ready to move onto something else, but I've got another problem that I'm hoping you can help me out with
When I try to do a search for "All non-archived topics read by user (any user)" I get the follwing error:
quote: Error Type: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80040E09) [TCX][MyODBC]You have an error in your SQL syntax near '(FORUM_FORUM F RIGHT JOIN FORUM_TOPICS T ON F.FORUM_ID = T.FORUM_ID) ON C.CAT_ID' at line 1 /forum/who_read.asp, line 384

I'm sorry I dont, however if it would help your development process I would be willing to host a test/development forum for you with a MySQL DB.
No offense intended Kat, but I like Nikkol's "who's read this mod" quite a bit better, it has a much more professional look and feel to it.

Nikkol,
Do you have a copy of this mod somewhere else cos I would be very interested in installing it, but I get a File Not Found when I try to download, so I guess it must have been deleted or moved.

Thx Nikkol, That works fine now I'll be installing later today...
Kal, I just chose this mod cos it was the first one I saw in the MOD Add-On Forum (W/Code) forum. I'll try installing this mod, and if I get issues, then i'll look at the other one, i didn't know it existed

When testing this before implementation, on your test site, and at URL http://www.nikkol.net/forum/who_read.asp?method=bytopic&FORUM_ID=1&TOPIC_ID=1 I get this when trying to view the who_read.asp on a topic in the archives:
ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
/forum/who_read.asp, line 110
Thoughts? Since everything works on regular, locked topics in obviously has something to do with the topics being in the archive table? TIA |

No, just on your test site. I'll implement later, and let you know how it works on my forum. |
