Dynamix, this is, as I wrote before, a private space. The contents and discussions are dictated by the space owners. When you're not at your own space, which is the case here, it is expected that you behave with education and restraint. You don't like it here, don't come. I only visit places where I feel confortable. But you surely have no right to be rude when you visit other people's places. |

I never have read any rule here that describes that politic discussions are forbidden. Till today I every time felt welcome here, but now I belive that Iīm only welcome if Iīm talking like the owners want me to talk. In a good discussion it should be possible to end it whenever you want. I canīt understand, why some people talk about freedom and then close such a discussion. I came here over a period of 2 years and I also did a little bit of work for the community. Not much, but a little bit. Some translations for german versions and some translations for internationl version. Not so much, but I think Iīm a little part of this community. If this really is an (international!) open source project and if there is really a part in this community for discussions wich nothing have to do with snitz (like the headline trys to tell us), then I canīt understand this.

Surely this will apply to me also, as I have no difference in point of view. If so, I'll make the necessary arrangements.

This topic is now locked. It has become clear that this sort of subject matter can no longer be discussed civilly here. The next person who starts a topic concerning the war with Iraq will have their account locked.
Dynamix, this is your final warning. You seem to think that you have some "right" to post anything you want to here. You are wrong. This is not "CENSORSHIP". There is no such thing as "Free Speech" on a private forum such as this. We make the rules, you can either abide by them, or you can find somewhere else to visit. These rules are not absolute, we deal with certain situations as they arise. Your behavior the last few days has been very combative. You have made some pretty strong accusations, and have just been trying to start trouble. This sort of behavior will not be tolerated. |

Final interjection,
To everyone who has posted opinions in the last weeks, Thank you very much for your input and information. We have all come to see the world in a more clear light. We have all been moved to new thoughts and understanding of how the world works, and we are all better off from having read what everyone has shared.
Anyone wanting to know the opinions of anyone else can easily look in the topic in question to read what others have posted. Everyone's opinions were well expressed and again I thank you all.
Lets get back to the business at hand. This is a Forum development Forum, and we thank you all for being mature with us and going on with life here. |
