I used to have something on my forum...where in your profile you would choose a custom header/footer...which could be used, for example...
Header = [*red][*b]
Footer = [*/b][*/red]
(without the * of course )
Which would make the text in your post red and bold
Any ideas on how to make this for 3.4.03?

Cheers Richard!
Would these work with 3.4 or would a lot of code changes need to be done? |

I would think that they would work, the line #'s and such will probably be different though. |

I installed the second version (Custom Header Footer Mod Version 3.3), and only had to change some code in (pop_profile.asp)...the other changes in admin_config_members.asp etc were just because of the Response.Writes, but it doesn't seem to do anything The posts show up like they were before. I've switched it on, configured the header and footer in my profile, but no changes.
Would you be able to take a look for me please? Or give me some pointers?
Cheers |

If you want help, you should post a link to the text version of the files... |

OK, OK.
I'm at work now, so I don't have access to my code.
I have it "half-working" @ http://railway.www4.dotnetplayground.com/forum
User: test Pass: test
Edit your profile if you want to see it.
The

work, but nothing else (thats my hang-up).
I'll post the modifications in post_info.asp when I get home.
I think I might have a solution though...
Sorry

Yo, I'm testing on your forum, but it's not working
Also, don't know if you've noticed, when you reply to a message, it leaves a black box across the top of the posting table |
