I've started using a personal blog and I've installed and customized (a little) the Journal app at http://www.webwizguide.info/asp/sample_scripts/journal_application.asp
I'm sure it can be integrated within a Snitz forum pretty easily. You'd just have to import the tables into your forum, add a field to a table here and there for the member ID, change some lines of code, and you're all set. I'm sure it's not THAT easy but I'm sure it can be done.
By the way, here's my blog (WARNING: not integrated into Snitz so don't flame me for posting this link. ) http://www.bookfamily.net/blog/ |

Ok, pop_comments.asp and HTMLtoForum.js has been added to the zip, you can redownload.
HTMLtoForum.js is a javascript function I found that will convert html code to forum code. on the add_entry.asp page is a button that will convert any html in the message box to it's forum code, usefull for when somebody wants to copy and paste some code into their message. |

Thanks for the link Bookie. I don't mind playing around with it to get the blog to work. Thanks for the offer on your code. I'd like to be able to email you later if I get stuck. Is the email address in your profile current?
By the way, I enjoyed the content of your blog. The Proverbs 15:1 was motivational. The Good News/Bad News hit home too. I didn't have time to read the rest, but it was nice.
Thank you for the reply.

I'm trying to decide what a weblog would do that the forum can't already do.
If a member wants to add a topic they already can so they don't need a weblog. If a member wants people to reply - they already can because that's what the forum does. If you want to see the latest posts by one member you can go to their member page.
