I installed the poll mod at my forum and it's running great. Just one question, how do I change the "Poll Status" from open to closed? And then so it does not show up in the Active Polls link?

| Close the poll by editing the topic that contains the poll and select the option that says "Check here to lock/unlock the poll". |

| Ok. I had tried that but once the poll is locked, should it still show up under the "Active Polls" link? |

The Active Polls page shows polls that have been voted in recently. Not if the poll is open or locked.
Take the Active Topics page for instance. Even when you lock a topic, if a reply was made to that topic recently, before it closed, then it would show up on the active topics page.
Eventually, since the poll is closed, no one will be able to vote, so overtime it will move itself off the Active Polls page.
Another thing also is, users would still want to see the results of the recent polls, even if it got locked. |
