I would like to setup out intranet so that anyone on the domain can automatically logon to the forum with no prompt. and anyone remote needs to be promted for the domain user account and password. I have enabled the NT authentication but when i enable the auto logon I get a page error. and when i turn it off i just get a prompt for credentials even though the user is on e the lan and is part of the domain.
Any ideas please

If you are talking NT Challenge and response.

Have your users add your forum's Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) to their Local Sites in IE Tools... Internet Options... Security... Local... Sites they won't get challenged again. Works over VPN as well.

Does just typing the server name challenge you as well? If you are set up in DNS you should be able to just type http://myserver/ and get there without a challenge.
