                      | No,
I discovered the problem due to a member passing the e-post to me with a question. So - I haven't a clue when this happend or from witch mode this can be related to. All mods have been implemented quite resently.

                      | I say you need to test and offer more info. How did that come about? What type of email is that? From a member to another?
You can also do another thing: do an overall search for sha256, which is the name of the function that does the encoding in the Snitz code. Just post a list of the files where you find it. I think setup.asp and inc_header.asp, as well as register.asp (and of course inc_sha256.asp) are files where you should have that. Do you find the function in any other files?

 ]i]How did that come about?
 Don't really know.

What type of email is that?
For certain it's the email used when you email a member using their email address.
 From a member to another?
 Yes

Don't know - its a h-l of a jobb to search through all the files. I will start doing this search as soon as possible.

                      | Yes, even windows will do this task for you, apologies if you already know, but it may help others too.
Maybe only works for Windows 9x?

 Go to start > search > file/folder

Enter your text to find in 'Containing Text' and change 'Find In' to your Snitz directory, then search.

One tip i like to use is to open 'Sendto' folder inside 'Windows' folder and make a shortcut to notepad, that way you can right click the ASP file and then 'Sendto' > 'Notepad' for easy and quick edit.
