I did a search for

using the following criteria

Match exact phrase
All Forums
Archived Posts
Any Date


The search returned the following error:

it's basically just timing out. if you choose "Subject Only" then it will complete without an error.

Perhaps someone could modify search.asp so that it handles this problem better and displays a more user friendly error message explaining that the search is taking too long and the user might want to try again with different search paramters.
