I'm new to ASP and Snitz all together, but I'm quite pleased with everything so far. I'm just a student with years of experience with HTML, but not much outside of that. I know how to edit a page to look exactly how I want it, but when I'm looking at the code behind Snitz, I get confused very easily. Do I need to know ASP in order to get the page to look how I want it? I'm not talking about adding MODs, I just want to put things like the login, links and logo in DIVs and edit colors and stuff. I realize that you guys are all volunteers, and I really appreciate all the help you've given me so far. (I'd give a donation if I could afford my own dinner ) But I'd love it if there was an in depth FAQ regarding the basic layout of a forum and how to change it. Thanks,

Mike Southerton

Your site (the one you entered as your homepage) doesn't work

Although there aren't any real, or should I say "official", tutorials about how to integrate your forums into your site, there are quite some topics about it. They might be able to help you figure things out or get some ideas of what's possible.
Also, there's a Site Integration MOD which will make it easy for you to modify the look of the forums so they'll appear to be more part of the site. By using that, you won't have to dive into the source files and figure things out for yourself. You can find more information about this MOD here

If you want, or need help getting something done that isn't possible by using the information in the topics about site integration, you can always post your questions in the appropriate forum and someone will help you.
My advise is simple: ask for help when you need it, no matter how big or small the problem is. But do try to do things yourself too so you won't be completely dependant. That's how I got to learn ASP too

Thanks for the reply. I haven't updated my profile in about a year, but my new website url is up (with a lot of work needed still).

I'll check out the MOD you mentioned, and also just keep posting questions I guess. Thanks,
