I can understand if it feels daunting, it felt the same to me when I started to use Snitz.

You should perhaps try this one instead. There are instructions in that topic on how to implement that variant into a 3.4 forum.

Then you can continue to get familiar with the 3.4 code and perhaps implement the report to moderator mod later?

No, because I am having trouble adding the text to topic.asp

As for my site being un-viewable ??? I am browsing my forum as I type this reply !

I don't necessarily think that there is a 'problem' -its just that I can't convert the code to snitz 3.4 (which is what is needed to be done here).

I get the following message:

Post Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.

/forum/ReportToModerator_ShowMessage.asp, line 129

when I try and 'view message' from ComplaintManager.asp

Also in topic.as it only shows the REPORT link in the replies and not the original post.

first error: your database is not setup correctly. was there a dbs script with the mod? did you run it?

second error: try downloading the file again. i fixed the second error.

I just ran the one for access97 and it seems to have made it work !

The only problem now is on ComplaintManager.asp
I have to press the SOLVED icon twice for it to remove that complaint.
