All worked fine on localhost, but when I uploaded I got this error on submitting policy.asp:quote: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: 'DisplayProfileForm' /bg/forums/register.asp, line 700
I am dead in the water!

You've been changing that file, right? You should backup a working version of any file you change, before starting to change it. Now I would suggest that you undo the changes you have made. Can you do that?
P.S.: Why post in this forum? This is a Snitz related problem...

To your PS.: That is why I posted in the other forum when I realized it, which you just locked.
I was so careful with all the changes, and always run them on localhost before uploading. There were several files involved in the change, and I don't know where to begin! Replacing the pop.profile.asp and the inc.profile.asp didn't fix it... |

I also replaced the register.asp file now with an earlier version, and still get the same error! |

You shouldn't have double posted anyway. Moving the post from this forum to the Help: Mod Implementation forum would be the right thing to do.
Well I guess noone can help you without having the a look at those files. |

Alfred, make sure you have all the include files loaded on the live server. That error usually occurs when it can't find the sub or function that is being called. |
