Hi I have modded my forum quite a bit but now I want to set up a forum on a host that doesn't support access. If I am starting from scratch, how can I set up a mySQL database and apply the db updates for the mods that I have already installed without haveing to really start from scratch and updating the original source code again? in other words make the SQL database have all the required fields and tables for the mods that I have installed.

any help would be appreciated.

A friend of mine extracted all tables and data from my access 2000-db, then all I had to do was to copy and paste the whole thing into phpMyAdmin and click "OK" =)

I can try and get him print down how he did it =)

I recently switched from access to mysql with help here from ruirb and davio. We used "mysqlfront" to convert the access db and all mods i had implemented are working. I also did it with a trial version of "access2mysql" and that worked too.
