There is this bug in Internet Explorer 6.x (Win XP) that is driving me up the wall. Sometimes it lets me use the 'view source' feature and other times it doesn't.
I find this so restraining and so irritating that I have almost moved all of my browsing over to Mozilla.
But the problem with that is I can't get a Google bar in Mozilla. So the Google bar is preventing me from switching completely over to Mozilla.
Which is interesting, because the only reason I haven’t already switched to Linux or OS X is that I (used to) like Internet Explorer.
Argh! So that means that it’s all Google’s fault I'm stuck with Windows!
** I take no responsibility for lack of continuity or common since in the above rant. It is after all 3:13 AM ** |

Which pages don't let you use the "view source" feature? |

Any. It works for a while then quits. (Untill I reboot)
This behavior has presisted through several hard disk reformats and two different Windows XP disks. I cant see how such a 'high level' problem could be hardware related, but it remains a posiblity. |

I don't remember ever having a problem where I couldn't use the "View Source" option. But, I have assigned araneae to be the editor used when choosing "View Source", so that could have some effect I guess. |

Yeah, I deleted the files and set the cache down to 50 mb (from 468) I'll give you an update if its still working in a day or so. |

I have had that problem with IE too sometimes. But only with the Edit icon on the toolbar. It sometimes is grayed out. I usually right click and select view source. If that isn't available, I save the page to my computer then open it up in a text/html editor.
But it doesn't happen too often. Just sometimes. Not enough times to get me bothered. I'm on Windows 98, using IE 6. |

When I click "save image as" the only option for image formats is BMP.
Deleting the temporary files seems to have worked. |
