trying to install pm mod, seems i'm a bit thick  do i edit the neccesary files and then upload them to my server or do i edit them on the server (brinkster)
any help would be great (told you i was thick  )

hi~ landroverbob,
for install a MOD, you're no need to change anything strConnString in config.asp !!
just put the dbs_xxxxx.asp file on your forum folder, then go to Admin Section and run MOD Setup.
if nothing wrong, you should be can see the MODs name show on the drop down box.. choose the one you want to do the database update work. that't all.  |
