I have Snitz 3.4.03 and Active Users MOD Version 3.4 Compatible. I changed the code as it was said, and I enabled active users panel for everyone in admin options. Have you re-checked the changes you made in config.asp and default.asp? Go to the forum variables in your admin section and check what value STRAUPALLOW has (it should be a 4 if everyone can view the panel).
I can check config.asp and default.asp for you, if you provide a link to a text version of them. Don't forget to remove the connection string from your config.asp so that no one can see your db-path (and username/password if you have them entered).
