My users have been asking me for quite som time now for a counter on the top (in the navigation) that shows the number active posts. They want this so that they won`t have to scroll down the entire page to see if there`s any new posts. In other words, I want it to look like below if there is 6 new posts.

Home | Profile | Register | Active Topics (6 new) | Members | Search | FAQ

Hope you understood what I meant, my languageskills isn`t too good!

There is all ready a mod that does just that, it was for snitz 3.3.x.x though, so it may not work with the current version.

It was called Active Topics(x) MOD By DAN MARTIN

From the readme

This MOD allows you to show the number of
active topics in the Active Topics link.

I`m running 3.4.03 and the mod you spesified didn`t seem to work for me. Anyone who has the solution for the 3.4.03 version?

Btw, you put the 'function' code in inc_func_common.asp (or at least I did...and it works)
