Davio. I like to add the feature poll on my main homepage.. another word, outside of the forum. well, my main page do have a few snitz code included. mainly the login name... anyway, I try using the inc_poll.asp, but it was giving me an error because it was refering to alot of the stuff that the forum default.asp had. is there a way you can help me out. I'm playing to use the same stuff in table as the FORUM and the color. thanks

This is a challenge in itself as even I haven't been able to successfully get this to work. And I have attempted it 2 times with another user called Vodkafish both in the 3.3 version and the 3.4 version. I think we barely got it working in the 3.3 version but not so lucky in the 3.4.

| as I stated in my previous post. I got it to work. But once I upload it onto my webhosting server. it doesnt work. grrrrr! I double check my code.. and running from my home server.. it worked fine. I dont know what happen...... |

| skyhawks, I have been trying myself at getting it to work but it won't work this way. I am working on a new page to allow users to put the poll on thier front page. Using inc_poll.asp for the front page is just too tedious for anyone. I am hoping you don't need this feature urgently as it will take me some time to get this working properly. I will need your opinion on some of the features of it too. |

skyhawk, I had posted in the poll mod topic but you might not have seen it. So I'll post here too since I am working on it for you.
"As usual I will need the opinions of some of the poll mod fans. I am giving the Site Poll (that's what I am calling it) it's own admin options (can turn it on or off, along with other features I will think up of). It will be similar to the way the featured poll is displayed and functions in the forum.
Anyone has any thoughts on the Site Poll feature and what control you would like to have over it? Within reason of course."
So far, I have added an on/off switch for it. But I am not sure what other control users would want over it. |

Any thoughts on the site poll? I was also thinking giving admins the options to set the colors of the table. Since the forum colors might not match thier site colors. And some control over the width of the table. But that's about it. |

The user would have to include Inc_footer.asp into any page with this on so, it would match up to that. |

Why? I'm not using inc_footer.asp. It's not needed for this feature. |

Ok, well I'll finish it up then and you can test the file. I have made the poll in it's own table. I'll try to comment it as much as possible so to help new users customize it. |
