I have seen some people talk about it, and ask if there is a calendar mod for 3.4.02 but I have not seen any definite answer. I do not really need the actual calendar, I just would like to have a posting of upcoming birthdays... Does anyone know anything about this?

The Events MOD will probably work, I think the only difference in the base code is plugging a few loopholes.

Thanks laser, I did get it working... now I hope to try and get birthdays incorporated to the calendar... that should be more fun.
