I've not actually done this, but in theory it should work...
Set up a whole new installation of Snitz and in the config.asp of the new version change the prefix settings like:
strTablePrefix = "[NEW_FORUM]_"
strMemberTablePrefix = "[OLD_FORUM]_"
strFilterTablePrefix = "[NEW_FORUM]_" 'used for BADWORDS and NAMEFILTER tables
...where [NEW_FORUM] is different to what you have already and [OLD_FORUM](FORUM is the default) is the same prefix as defined in your old forums config.asp file. |
