| my email notifications are not working and the settings have not been changed. Any advise? |

| They have been worked before? Maybe your host changed something with the mail server. |

You have ben so helpful--I hate to keep bothering you with my problems--don't want to take advantge of you  . I thought maybe I could find the answer here on the message board.
It is very stange. I posted a test and got two replys--Some people are getting email notices and some aren't-- They stopped coming to my email?? The settings are the same as Biblical Holidays board-- and it works fine??

It's ok to ask for help when you need, if I'm not able to help I'll just let ya know. Anyway you can always come here, there more people able to help and I can help from here as well.
In fact the settings are the same for both boards, but should they be? Also when you say you get no email notices, does that include all your subscriptions or just this test post - you're not supposed to get emails for posts you authored... |

No one is getting emails--me or anyone else.

| Robin, have you talked to your host to know if they've been getting returned emails or some other errors with emails? I fail to understand why the same settings won't work in a forum and work in another. Also I fail to understand why this happened all of a sudden. Configuration wise, I see nothing else that could be changed. Please try to talk to the host and let me know what they answer. |

| I taked to the host and asked me to test the mailer let them know if you are still having the same issue. I let them know I tested it and still have the problem. Awaiting their reply. |

I've talked to the Hopst several times now. They said the email server should be "ASPQMail" but I explained that the board that is working was set to "CDOSYS..." THey said to change it-- I did. It still doesn't work. I changed it back and it still doesn't work. The host did say they had mail but the change should have fixed it. My board conversations have really died down.
Any help GREATLY appreciated!

| Robin, unfortunately I really don't know what to do to fix that. Tell me one thing, are both your forums installed in different servers? I suppose you are using the same provider, can you please ask them? |
