I know there's been problems with hosting threads though I don't remember why. I'll understand if this thread gets knocked off.
I thought I had found a new host, but apparently haven't.
I've been to the 4guysfromrolla site, but it doesn't have enough comments about each of the hosts (plus most are expensive!) to be really helpful. I've also been to the webhostingtalk.com forums where there are LOTS of comments and lots of inexpensive hosts, unfortunately the site seems to "specialize" in Linux servers and those who support primarily php. The freeasphost (sp?) site is also not what I need: lots of diskspace.
Does anybody know where I can get more info on Windows 2000 hosts who support asp and MS SQL server?
Better yet, anybody know of a reliable, reasonably-priced host? Maybe you can email me instead of posting anything that might start a conflict???
Thanks in advance, Irene |

www.webhostingtalk.com Is a good place to find more also, be warned though most of the people there are heavily biased towards linux hosting. |

Doug G, I don't see you site supporting MSSQL, but rebbrad0's site does, (for $25\mo) and you can find MySQL hosts here: http://www.wix.com/mysql-hosting/
Sometimes it's more effective to host your site in one host, and the database in another, it can be cheaper that way
Sorry if i hurt any of the other users who host websites |

Not something I'd advise personally, just asking for trouble imo. Better off spending the time to find a host that meets all your requirements and is professional in their committment to you. |

crystaltech certainly offers sql server. They don't advertise it well on their home page though, look at Plan III and above.
