I am rebuilding a client's website which will require a new forum to replace a very active one already in existence.
Since I am building the site with FP2K I at first thought the FP forum would be the best solution--I set one up.
After more reading on the subject I got the feeling the FP forum was pretty lightweight and fraught with problems. Not having uploaded the new website (need to move to an ASP friendly hosting service) I was not sure the FP forum files were even in the website.
So I set up Snitz in the same website.
I recently ran a report on the website (now over 100 pages) and found evidence the FP forum is there.
Now I have two forums set up in the same site and I am afreaid they will conflict when I publish the web.
Is there a way to uninstall the FP forum when I can't see its pages?
Is this the best way I ought to procede? Obviously Snitz would uninstall real easily before publishing.
The FP forum files you're seeing are archived FP bot files in FP's own directory. Don't worry about it. They are not doing anything if your FP forum has been deleted.
