Example of where I placed all files except data base file.
http://members.cox.net/userid/root/www/forum/
would this be the address to type in to reach my forum for the first time?
I chose the access route, but I'm not sure if my ISP supports forums?

I'm getting "You don't have permission to access /(my-userID)/root/www/forum/ on this server" when I type the above URL.

I'm not even sure thats the proper URL to use or do I need a file name after the forum/ ......... where I placed the files.

Any help would be kindly appreciated, thanks.

Probably more like ...

http://members.cox.net/userid/forum/

You have given examples of your ftp directories, but your http will be slightly different.

no file name is needed, the web listener has a list of default files to look for. Unfortunately, your listener is Apache so I doubt you will have Access support, and may not even have ASP support.

Yes, it does not look like this Apache server has Sun ONE ASP installed, so you will not be able to run Snitz on it.
