Hi,
is there a MOD, which lists all the MOD's that have been installed in the individual forums?
If not is there a way we could define a rule in the next new version, that when a new MOD is installed, a new table has to be populated with this information!
Just an idea!

There used to be a MOD called the MOD Commander that did this. I discontinued using this MOD myself because it seemed unnecessary since keeping track of your installed MODs should be part of your documentation.

After you have done a few upgrades your documentation gets better and better so the next one goes smoother.

Hallo,
I think this is a very important topic. I have a lot of mods installed (Most of them written by myself). I think the designers of this forum software should sometimes have a look how commercial Software does such things. For example SAP R/3 is using "User exits" which are basically events which are fired before, after a ABAP report/form is processed. Here a programmer can add it's code without modifying the original SAP Code (which also can be modified, because of the open source character of SAP, but should be avoided) It is very difficult following mod instructions when you already have many mods installed. Line Numbers are not accurate, if you are not careful, one mod overrides the source of the other code. I think installing mods is a pain in the ass, and I up to now could install every mod sucessfully. But only because I red through the whole code and have a very good understanding of the snitz forum. A newcomer has no change, I guess!!
