There may be a simple way to change this but I haven't seen it it the admin options.

I find the little graphics on top of each message, show profile, email poster, edit topic, etc., confusing and not as easy as plain text. The reply button doesn't jump out at you and this is what most people would be looking for.

Is there an easy way to replace these with text something like this?

REPLY - EDIT - EMAIL POSTER - VIEW IP - DELETE

ya, just open the file "TOPIC.ASP" with notepad or something like this, and now find a line like this:

"%> <a href="JavaScript:openWindow('pop_mail.asp?id=<% =rsReplies("MEMBER_ID") %>')"><img src="icon_email.gif" height=15 width=15 alt="email poster" border="0" align="middle" hspace="6"></a>"

and replace this line with that:

"%> <a href="JavaScript:openWindow('pop_mail.asp?id=<% =rsReplies("MEMBER_ID") %>')"><span lang="en-us">email
poster</span></a>"

and to this action with the other icons
