Hi Chris, the path should not be http://andsoandso but it should be the pysical path to the sitestat.txt
this would be c:/inetpub/www/forum/
if you do not know the physical path goto the admin section and choose server variables. in there it is mentioned.
Once you have the correct path set and you have no more error within the adminsection of the sitestat then you are set!
Justpost again when you have a question.

Thanks Robert. I've emailed to you my physical path. Shouldn't it be c:\ instead of c:/ ? It's the same path that I've put in previously and the same error again.

Hi Robert, I've checked the Mod Implementation and found this posting from Lightweb; quote: I got mine to work somehow. I changed the following two files and it worked. I have made text file links for you to get if you would like to. Not a promise that this will fix your problem, lol. ~ Tod
www.calvarykannapolis.com/admin_config_sitestat.txt www.calvarykannapolis.com/inc_sitestat.txt
I've replaced that 2 files, and I set the storage space to Snitz database - it works. When I set to txt file, it shows; "There Was A Problem With Your Details
Setting the Counter Storage to ASCII Format is not yet supported! Please turn it to ON"
So now I've to set it to the snitz database. Thank you. Chris Yew

Chris, please download the latest zip file and load the admin_sitestat.asp and the inc_sitestat.asp into the forum. Somehow you have the sitestat 1.08 version installed. Robert |

if i use the "database" options, i get this error
quote: ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
/ronald/inc_sitestat.asp, line 351
i think it means that he cannot find a record in the database so i added 2002 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 just like in the text file maybe it works...
[edit] doesn't work :( i WANT to work with my access database, i hate txt files
maybe someone knows something?
txt file != an options, because it just won't count with the txt file, and i hate text files ;)
yes i ran the DBS file
[edit] i have changed the inc_sitestat.asp file just like they said on page 4
with this
'We get the Total Year Count If strYearCount = "1" then strSql = "SELECT Sum(SITESTAT_MONTH_COUNT) AS Year_Count FROM " & strMemberTablePrefix & "SITESTAT WHERE (((SITESTAT_YEAR)="& strSS_Year & "))" set rs = my_conn.execute(strSql,adOpenStatic,adCmdTxt) while not rs.eof Year_Count=rs("Year_COUNT") rs.movenext wend End If etc, etc, etc,
now it doesn't make errors, but it won't count and/or display numbers :S
somebody knows what i can do about it?
http://www.manueleforum.tk
i have temporarily disabled the mod,
thx in avance ! |
