Hi Marcoworld!
The Path has to be something like this
c:\inet\www\forum\sitestat.txt
It can not be a url! It is a physical path!
If you do not know the correct path, go into the admin section and choose "server imformation" and look up the variable "path_translated".
Note this gives you the ability to see what the full paths looks like. You may have to add other folders to it, to where you have placed the sitestat.txt file.

Only the forum's members stat doesn't work?
Moreover "page header", "visitor header", "active member header", "active member count" don't are shown (don't run).
I actived them "on".
Why?

make sure that the variables are set in the config .asp!
Are all the settings still properly shown in the admin section of the sitestat MOD?

Yes I have added the variables to config.asp. I have also double checked them twice. I have also verified the include in inc_header.asp and run the db setup twice. I am currently trying to use the text file because it at least shows numbers. The db set-up shows nothing. The addy is... www.autoservltd.com/forum/sitestat.asp

A little note. If you go to my site and there are numbers shown it is set to the txt file. If no numbers show at all it is currently set to db. |

I don't know where to go with this. I have read this entire topic and the readme numerous times. I also have tried ALL of the fixes here. Hmmm. bit of a stumper. It seems to read the db and txt files fine but it does not write to either of them. The txt file is in with my db in the same folder and all 10 fields are entered into the db.....
Edit area....
Does this MOD require the server to change the date before it kicks in ? I guess what I am asking is.... is the a lag time between installation and when it starts to count ?? |
