I have down loaded the forums file to my PC, how do I upload the files to my web site and create a functional forum. What do I need a editor for? How do I have to edit the file? Someone help Please.

You can upload your files with an FTP client. And "editor" is just a fancy name for a program that can open your files. Notepad will work just fine, although many people use fancier programs.

Be sure to read the readme.htm file included in your download. It's very easy to follow, IMO.

That's what TestMagic explained. I suppose you extracted all the forum files to an empty folder and then changed config.asp, as explained in the readme.htm, using aranea. Then you can use a FTP client, to connect to your web server through FTP and use that client to transfer all of the individual forum files to the proper folder in your website.

An alternative would be to add all the forum files to your website, in Frontpage. Probably you could create a folder for the files, and import them to your Web, copying them from Windows Explorer and pasting them in Frontpage. Then you could just publish your Website using Frontpage.
