I know It's kina codecending to post this for a person who is here for less than a week, but I would like to ask how someone can apply to be a moderator in this forum, if you even accept applications in this time.

It isn't usually through applications. It is down to the contribution you make (solving problems, helping out and somethies making mods - but not all moderators have released mods) and the discretion of the Admins here. They have their own agenda with this sort of thing.  |

Normally what happens is, If we feel the need for a new moderator for any reason, someone has left or not around very much, or a forum gets extremely busy and warrants more moderators, then the subject is normally discussed with the other admins/modeators, who may or may not propose someone they think would be a suitable moderator. They are then contacted and asked if they would like to become a moderator.
Obviously, you are allowed to decline the invitation, but we won't ever speak to you again if you do. (only kidding ) |
