I know It's kina codecending to post this for a person who is here for less than a week, but I would like to ask how someone can apply to be a moderator in this forum, if you even accept applications in this time. TIA |

It isn't usually through applications. It is down to the contribution you make (solving problems, helping out and somethies making mods - but not all moderators have released mods) and the discretion of the Admins here. They have their own agenda with this sort of thing. |

Normally what happens is, If we feel the need for a new moderator for any reason, someone has left or not around very much, or a forum gets extremely busy and warrants more moderators, then the subject is normally discussed with the other admins/modeators, who may or may not propose someone they think would be a suitable moderator. They are then contacted and asked if they would like to become a moderator.
Obviously, you are allowed to decline the invitation, but we won't ever speak to you again if you do. (only kidding ) |

yes, but only for the code, the GPL does not cover moderating the forum that requires your soul i'm afraid.
