Was thinking it might be a good idea if someone made a nav mod :)
take "
Home | Profile | Register | Active Topics | Members | Search | FAQ
" out of Inc_header.asp and make a way that the admin (super) can add/delete/edit what navs are used from the admin panel....
good/bad idea?

You mean, just do away with those links so people have to guess where they are. I guess removing the register link is one way to keep membership down...

lol, i dont think you get what i mean maye

Take the links out so they are not hardcoded anymore and make a admin page.. say Admin_nav.asp where a admin can just enter a name and the the file name......
If you still dont get me i will find a better way to show ya

I just made an inc_menu.asp page. I don't see a need to add it to administration. It's not as if navigation is optional. You might as well do the same for login. Turn login off, turn login on. How many people are going to turn it off?

It's not so you can turn anything of.. i was thinking more of adding new links there.
Every time you want to add a link you have to hardcode it into Inc_header.asp, what i was thinking is a way for a admin to just add links from Admin_home.asp

The more you make dynamic, the poorer your performance. I use an inc_menu.asp but there's no way I would add this to the admin panel. You have to leave a few things off of there or your performance will start to degrade.I'm not saying that adding this one thing would make a forum slow, but a little here...a little there and all of a sudden you're back to how slow 3.3 was.
