Has anyone tried to have GG Authentication with a forum so that only GG members can post a message in that particular forum but everyone should be able to read it?
I have my V3.4 forums set up using NT Authentication and all works well (as does the GG). I also have my forums set up so that some of them have posting restrications (a Huwr MOD that I updated for V3.4). I was thining of tweaking this to us the GG Authentication but I'm not sure if anyone out there has already done this.
I'm thinking of the next stage of development I'm about to start and this question came up at our development meeting and I wasn't sure about it.
Hey ASPDude, I've not thought about this before, but now that you mention it, i can see how this would be benificial to me. If i come up with anything i'll let you know. I've got a ton of other things though that i'll be working on between now and christmas, so i can't promise anything before then.
