Sorry about putting this in here, but you lot seem to know so much. I was wondering if anyone knows if a Compaq armada 1700, has a built in modem? I have on and it has a place for the phone socket to go but its got some sort of cap on it. On the comp, it seems to of found the modem as when i installed the driver for it, and went into the device maniger its saying this is working ok. What do you think?
