and also chkUser = 0, and these values are available on every forum page, right?

they all check whether a person is logged in, they are all supposed to be there because they make sure there aren't any erros in the proccess
some use cokies and some use DB info

strDBNTUserName holds the username
MemberID holds the MemberID
chkUser is a function which is called to populate mLev as well as MemberID
