Had a training call re: our forums today, and one of the people who is new to the forum had a suggestion.
On the topic list page, topics are called Topics. However, when you click "New Topic", and go to the input screen, the "topic" is now called Subject. That was confusing to them. Perhaps it should be called Topic on that screen, or on reply screens, should be called reply - Subject was too vague for this particular user. |

The topic is not called subject. A new Topic consists of a subject and a message. And those are the fields you see when you are creating a new topic. Just like a letter, you have the header and then the body of the letter. But it's still a letter. |

Point taken. How about if I change my request? :)
It would be awesome if this was set as a config variable - I could choose whatever I wanted for the "name" of this field, and update that in one place. I can obviously do that myself, but again, that makes upgrading one extra step...
