| I'm looking to integrate the forums with my site, so right from the portal of my site users will be able to log in, see whats new since the last login, etc etc. Also I want toinclude users page preferences in the database so I want to make sure that adding fields to the database won't mess anything up. Looking through the source of the forums I'm TOTALLY lost..lol I don't know what pieces I need and what I don't. |

I think what you're looking for is the "Content Display" MOD rather than the "Site Integration" MOD. The Site Integration gives you open spaces (top, bottom, left and right) where you can place customized banners, menus, and the likes. The "Content Display" MOD enables you to display recent posts, news, and other articles on a separate page inside or outside your forum files.
