Many people have requested it and I think I am just about ready to make it available as a MOD. It has been extensivley tested on Access and SQL Server but not at all with mySQL although most queries are pretty simple.
I have redone much of the administration so that it's about as easy to administer to as a forum with edit/add delete options available to admin as they browse articles and there is a full backend.
Some of the code still needs to be cleaned up and simplified but I would like some folks to test out installation who are experienced and could examine the code for security issues so this code isn't a problem for anyone that decides to use it.
There are some MODs that need to be installed for this to work such as SpellCheck. This MOD utilizes the BookMark table but I have an update script for those already using that MOD as well as the complete setup for those that are not.
If you are interested post here and I will select a few beta testers so I can get this thing finished.
Thanks @tomic
PS. This is not the same article MOD as Content Displays. This is the article system currently employed at my sig's site.

This MOD also "borrows" the Link Manager rating table. Instead of multiple rating and bookmark tables I thought it would make a lot more sense to store similar data together. This way some future queries could be a lot simpler such as a query for all ratings(links, topics, articles) and all bookmarks(links, articles, topics). Instead of a lot of ugly table joins everything is right there.
I will try to have this ready by Friday. A version of Content Display is needed so you can include new articles, top rated articles etc on your home page.

Not yet but I was working on it last night. I just need to get the setup scripts working and make sure I haven't forgotten anything for the zip.

Just be patient. I won't release it until I get it working well on a clean install of Snitz which hasn't been working out yet and i had to take a couple weeks off from it after getting sick but by Friday I will get cracking on it again. However, it will only be released for 3.4 although it wouldn't take too much to alter it to work with other versions but I just can't support them myself.

Ok, I finally got this to work on a clean install of Snitz so a few of you will probably be getting this within about 12-24 hours for initial testing.
I also could release my entire site's code as I did a clean install of everything and had it up and running within about 20 minutes. This will take longer mainly because the readme is rather lengthy since I need to include not only how to install but how to use and maintain everything.

OK, it's time.
Instructions are in the Zip. This is a really rough beta so don't even think about trying this one if you are unfamiliar with ASP. Some knowledge of ASP is required for editing the header files. But I hope I can get get some feedback so the next download has something everyone can use. Once again, this is not an easy one and it has some bugs.
