Hi.
Using v4.b03 with patches (Norwegian). When moving a topic from a category to another the email to "owner of the posting" looks like this (translated text, the end of the message):
.......you can read it at: topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=39
The main forum URL is missing in front of the link to posting.
Any ideas?

That file looks ok. Is the admin account, you sent me, still alive? Want to try it.< |

Hi.
Yes, I enabled the account again. You can choose language and use the account I sent you last time. Thanx for your time.

Perhaps you didn't set the forum URL in the admin settings...< |

Hi.
Okey, sometimes I'm sleepy and sometimes I'm tired, but the forum URL in the Admin section is a MUST for every Snitz user. I think there would be several functions not working without that setting set...

Can`t find anything suspicious. (only found one left out string in the lang pack @Bozden). Try to replace your post_info.asp with the file, that comes with the forum package, test again. If this doesn`t work, do the same with inc_mail.asp< |

Now I`am stumped with. Don`t know what is wrong. The lang pack is also right.
I have got two mails mentioning a moving of one of my posts. One is made with the English lang pack, one with norwegian lang pack.
English:
Hello Rasco
Your posting on VTI Fotball diskusjonsforum. Regarding the subject - test.
Has been removed from public display, If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the Administrator of the forum
Norwegian:
Hei Rasco
Denne meldingen gjelder ditt innlegg på VTI Fotball diskusjonsforum. Tittelen på emnet er: test.
Innlegget er blitt redigert eller flyttet, du kan lese det på: topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=44
In the english version there is no link at all, with norwegian comes a reference to the topic ID.
Bozden, do you know, what could be wrong here? Has the moving of topics ever been testet with V4Beta?< |

Exactly. If in your trials you don't move to the same forum this can happen.
It seems that you moved it to a cloed forum with English selected, in the second case you moved to a regular forum (Norwegian).
It can also a problem with the language file, but we need to know the value of strLangPost_Info00610 in Norwegian language file... < |

Hi.
My test forum was a closed forum (only for Admin etc). I opened the forum for everybody but the result of moving was the same...
Here's the line in the Norwegian language file (lang1044.asp):
strLangPost_Info00610 = "Er blitt flyttet fra offentlig fremvisning. Hvis du har spørsmål til dette kan du kontakte administrator for dette forum" '"Has been removed from public display, If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the Administrator of the forum"< |
