Is excellent as it happens. For non-UK residents (I think there's a few here) hopefully this will get a global release so you'll get a chance to see one of the most gripping (if slightly bleak and scary) films I've seen in quite a while. Petition your cinemas/distributors for it - it's worth it imho!

A few of the guys wanted to go see it last night but I thought it might be a mite too scray for nervous li'l me , so we went to see Road To Perdition instead, which was excellent, the best comic adaptation I've seen since From Hell. Having seen 28 Days Later, is it as terrifying as the ads make out? If not, I might check it out this weekend.

Well it's more bleak with a couple of shock moments than a horror film per. se. And some of the gore is a bit on the gory side, but only in keeping with the rest of the film. I suggest you don't take the kids ;-)

Shock moments & gore, I can handle , might just check it out this week, thanks for the recommendation, man. Of course, if I come away from it emotionally scared, I'll be hunting you down! In return, if you haven't seen it yet, I recommend you check Road To Perdition out, you'll thank me for it

It's good is it? The Ad's look great - but it's been slated a lot - so I was dubious.

Ross didn't slate it on his Saturday morning radio show - he was raving about it ...maybe he was just raving though!!

Johnathan Ross? Hmm, wasn't he the guy who called Ice Age a cinematic masterpiece?! Shows what he knows!!

The best purely British horror/science-fiction film in decades. And the first great apocalypse movie of the new millennium.

Jonathan's brother Paul Ross seems to do pretty poor reviews for NOTW/The Sun. I've yet to trust any of his opinions - maybe one liked it one didn't and we're getting muddled?

Anyway I loved it and surely that's worth more than a Ross ;-)
btw imdb gave it an 8
