would running setup.asp kick start the variables again? also, I know this sounds silly to ask, but did you make sure caching is turned off in your browser as well? (okay slap me now

It looks like it does. But the problem I have now is not the variables, but some caching going on.

Yes, that is silly. But I won't slap you since workmule did the honours.

They said they are using IIS5 with Service Pack 3. They also restarted the server for me, but I haven't check if that fixed it yet.
