I so much want to upgrade my main forum to the latest Snitz - now with the Poll & Events MODs released, I'm almost ready to do so ... I know, the new version is absolutely great. I have it running elsewhere, with several mods installed. However, my main forum has so much into it - I would love to be able to make the switch with a few features that our users' are used to, intact. Some of the other mods I feel confident will be on their way [or already are].
There are 3 items I humbly request, should anyone have the expertise - and time - to do so:
Snitz Syndication: Allows a designated number of links to the most recent forum posts to show up elsewhere on the web site.
And, two things I mentioned in Da_Stimulator's post of a day or two ago:
Enhanced Topic Sorting: Allows the user a wider range of sorting options, including sorting by the Topic's original post date! Plus, allows the administrator to set different default topic sorting methods for each individual forum, in the Edit Forum Properties area. These settings can, by choice, be overridden by the user's use of the Topic Sorting feature.
User Field "Creator": Allows for new user fields to be added to the Profile. There is an option to allow these newly created fields to be posted, along with Rank & Stars, Avatars, etc. when that user posts. It would act very similarly to the current "Title" field, only the user would add the info to the previously Administrator-defined field. It allows for creative customization of the user info, themed toward the site material.
Any of this not-too-difficultly doable? Is any of it even understandable!?!  Thanks for considering this ... |

I need a user field mod before I can switch to 3.4. I'm surprised more folks don't want this mod.

Yay! i was just goin to start on this myself so that i can do my "member search" mod, but all i need to do now is wait a week  |
