David, I really prefer to see addons sent to me so I can make sure they work. One issue I've had recently is modified code for the album floating around and people sending me emails for help on it. I'll take a look at your mod this weekend for sure though and if it passes muster I'll include it into the core code and give you credit in all the headers. Thanks for working on it.
bbd, what page gives you the repeating 20%? that is a spacing error and shouldn't be a problem with the current album. I will be more than happy to fix that asap. I did not design the album to upload pics from local drives, nor do I have any plans to do so.

| hi brother i didnt get u , wat u saying u didnt desighn album to upload files from local drive if not then how user is going to upload pics in album he must have to uplaod from his hard disk right? or he have to do some thing else? when he press upload button .. rest of my question is upthere coz i didnt get my complete answer bro so plz read my posts b4 and now u will understand every thing and plz give me brief description if u can. Thanks for a great mod Wes, the latest 1.80 looking real good.
The option to have a photo viewable (visible or not) is not working as I expect it should. Should this option be used if I like to hide one photo from the other forum members?
I tried the option and logged out but the photo is still viewable to all? |

The photo will only be vieable when you edit the album only. Should not be visable to any other user at all. If it isn't working that way on your system let me know.

The status of the photo is "not visable" but when I logout ie looking at the albums as an anonymous user my photo is there for everyone to see.

One of my Mac users says this about this MOD:
"Error!
Invalid character or bad word in any of the text fields. Please correct and try again."
I always get that error.
Btw, I'm quite sure the reason why I can't watch the enlarged pictures is that the url the forum returns uses "\" as directory delimiters. That won't work on a mac because if the path is is "myfolder\myfile.jpg" then the mac will try to download a file called "myfolder\myfile.jpg" instead of the file "myfile.jpg" in "myfolder"... Can you change that in some way? |

I am having problems because my host will not allow write permissions to folders open to the web (in my www directory). However, I do have write permissions on folders behind my www directory.
Within the album_admin page, is there away to get around entering a Virtual Directory as the Root File directory, and enter and an actual location outside of my web folder?

wii, It's a known mac issue I'll address it in the next bug fix rollup - hopefully this weekend
titanium, it maps that directory using mappath statement I don't know what would happen if you put in a direct path i.e. c:\photos or the like.

I'am having the same problem here.
I can write in a directory behind the wwwroot directory but whatever i try....
I can't get it working. Anyone an idea??

So, are you guys reading my post? Try putting the direct path in and see if that works. On the mac side I will fix that in the next bug roll up patch for the photo album. If the direct path doesn't work let me know I'll see what I can do for you.
