I have installed the MOD on my test site, and it works fine. But once I have installed it on my production site, I can not upload.
Every time I try to upload I see the message:
"Invalid character or bad word in any of the text fields. Please correct and try again."
The file names are perfect, no illegal character that I can see (for example IMG0404.JPG)
The server is: Windows 2003 Server, IIS 6.0

Just my opinion here, but the author of this mod no longer supports it or has done any updates for it , along with alot of people having troubles & things not working quite the way they should, maybe it should be removed so folks dont keep getting in deeper ? I have tried this mod on several occasions, parts of it work, it is limited to what operating systems & browsers that it half works on. File names are another issue as well. Anyhow just my opinion that it should be removed so folks dont keep pulling out their hair.

Jag you are right.
I spent too much time on this mod, and probably many more people were in the same situation.
Anyway, I have decided to drop this mod, I have downloaded the DUgallery from http://www.duware.com, and now I am converting it to work with Snitz.

Well I have completed the integration, and it is working fine.
I have asked them if I can post the modified sources, and they answered me by email that I cannot do that...

There is no rule that you can't have us download it (dugallery), and then add your "Hacks" to the original code. That should be perfectly allowable.

Make sure you setup the permissions for your upload folder BEFORE you add member accounts, otherwise their folders will not be created, and your uploaded files will not be saved. You need to setup the IUSR account to have full access to the nconvert.exe and the upload folder. Worked for me.
However, I'm still stuck. It looks like the code hangs when it tries to access nconvert.exe or something? I am running v4.16. Which version of nconvert.exe are you using, and where did you get it? |

| Anybody here run persists ASPJpeg or ASPEXEC? The troubleshooting option lists these. I got a trial of aspjpeg and it doesn't appear to make any difference, so why does this troubleshooting list it? |

I have the following problem:
When i´m on the page photo_album.asp where it says:

When i click on any other Letter or Number than "All" in the Menu:

Also the search options doesn´t work:
search mode
All Forums
Photo Albums
Search Results
No photos matched your search!
But when i log in as Administrator and then login in to the Admin Options it works perfect.

I'm getting this problem: Error!
File did not upload to system please contact the system administrator
I set the permissions for it to write but still getting this problem, anybody got a solution to this? |
