Is there any chance of someone having the fourm files which will put on these mods that I could just upload to my site?

If anyone has on like that I would be greatful if I could use it. It doesn't matter if one or two are missing one or two extras are there.
I've seen Server Hackers fully moded code but that has too many mods that I wouldn't use and I don't need. Besides I'm not smart enough to use that one.

serverhacker's is easy, you just upload it. granted there are a lot of mods, but half of them are transparent (you don't notice them).
all that is missing is the poll mod, and that is coming soon. as is the chat mod and the links mod.
try it! its as easy to setup as the default snitz. |

nah, not rivals. they are both Snitz forums. its all cosmetic really. pick which one you prefer. i love crash's mod. i love serverhackers mod. i love straight snitz.
of course we help each other out. that's what a community is about  |

I like your layout and the fact that there are no fancyful menu which may slow down the forum and make it incompatible with NS 4. Could you make your forum avaiable for download. It would help many people. Thanks anyway whatever answer.. |

suhern, I can zip my forum for you but it is as simple as grabbing 3.4.03 adding 2-3 mods and changing a few lines to integrate it into the site. So I can supply the current forum code, but the integration is your own concern

OK, completely 100% UNtested, all the usual disclaimers apply. I made a copy of my current forum and destroyed all the data in it, reset Administrator passwords, changed db location, etc.... no, you can't hack my forum using the details enclosed within. Download at your own risk from :

Administrator user name : Admin
Administrator password : snitz3403
So, I have tested pieces of this off-shoot version. It contains Active Users, Private Messages, Avatars and Events Calendar mod's + my personal likes (like Active Users on the Active Topics page). You can try the following steps and it SHOULD work :
- unzip the archive
- take a backup of your database
- upload all the files (except the enclosed db)
- edit config.asp to match your install (I only use Access)
- run setup.asp and upgrade your database
- login as Admin
- go into MOD setup
- install each MOD straight away
- you might have errors, any 'column already exists' can be ignored
- TEST
Having said that, it is much better to start completely fresh BUT you will loose all history in your forums.
I will support this where I can, but I can't promise anything. I am not officially releasing this archive, only trying to fill some requests that have been posted. Use at your own peril, good luck, and I really hope you read this far !

| Mirage, you're still not making sense. What are you deleting ? From your other threads it looks like you don't have a previous version, so just upload everything and it should work fine. |
