It is not very common, but if a url contains www somewhere in the url, then the current code will split the url into the section before the w3 and the following part.
I noticed when I was trying to post such a link, which other sites could post without mishap.
The example is here: topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=36344
The link name is (without the spaces): www .idg.com.sg/idgwww .nsf/unidlookup/F5FDECAAEBD200FE48256C470006237E?OpenDocument
